First, my thanks to the many greetings messages direct or blog interposed. Heartening to hear this year chilly.
I have not the talent of spontaneous animal found in wonderfully Pete de Seve, David Colman or Florian Satzinger, I spend my time copying and critters of all sizes (ha, horses ...) .
During my visit to Lisbon, I went twice to the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, which is a true marvel. This collector's aesthetic of the last century had a real good taste and especially for Lalique. Inspired by the animal and nature, Lalique has left us true masterpieces, both in jewelry, glassware or in furniture. It is from these objects I tried to upgrade my graphic knowledge of these reptiles. FYI, the two snakes flanking a rectangle mirror foot. Not easy to draw straight up, notebook in hand.
